Roowin is proud to be able to accompany its customers from early lead optimization through scale-up and small-scale GMP synthesis up to medium scale GMP manufacturing. Our strong internal analytical chemistry capabilities complete the range of service we offer to our customers.

Roowin is recognized by the French Government as a research undertaking organization. As such, Roowin’s partners are entitled to claim back 30% of project costs from the French Government, making our FTEs even more competitive.

Fully Equipped facilities with the Highest Security Measures Taken
We have Research and Development Laboratories, Kilolaboratories and Pilot Plant in over 1600m². Each are fully equipped chemistry facilities and are kept to same security standards of big pharmaceutical groups.

Chemical engineer from ENSICAEN (Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Ingénieur de Caen) and graduate of a PhD in Organic  Chemistry from Caen University. Strong experience in scale-up, development process and API synthesis under GMP. He joined the company in 2008.

THOMAS HAMEURY

PROCESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Graduated from ESPCI (Ecole Supérieure de Physique et Chimie Industrielles), and holds a PhD in organic chemistry. After a postdoctoral experience at the University of Glasgow, he joined Roowin in 2010 as a project leader. He is now in charge of the process development laboratory.

OUR HISTORY.

ROOWIN is founded by four PhD coming from the scientific community including Mr Patrice Rool and Mr Jacques Lewiner, former Scientific Director of ESPCI (High School for Industrial Physics and Chemistry, Paris). Mr Lewiner is owner of numerous patents and founder of High Tech companies.
ROOWIN grants a licence for its first patent to a major pharmaceuticals company.
Creation of the custom synthesis department.
ROOWIN moves to Romainville (Paris Region) and takes bigger laboratories.Now ROOWIN’s laboratories are 730m² big.
Creation of the pilot plant and the production workshop. ROOWIN can now supports its customers in their projects from lab scale to industrial phases.
The Quality Management System of ROOWIN is approved ISO 9001:2000 by Bureau Veritas.
ROOWIN is successfully audited, according to GMP procedures, by a major customer. ROOWIN moves to another building in the Biocitech park to increase the surface of its labs. Now the total surface including labs, kilo lab, pilot plant, production workshop, storage and offices is around 1400m².
Roowin moves in new modern laboratories, with top level equipments to Riom in region Auvergne.
